I don't even know if I have any power of translating these lines that I've just made up above but just to give you a long story short - my love for make up brushes is as endless as the world and I simply can't stop buying and loving them.. :)

Turėdama galimybę išbandyti naujus šepetėlius, aš nebūčiau aš, jeigu ja nepasinaudočiau. Pamačiusi apžvalgoms atsiųstą Gosh makiažo šepetėlių rinkinį ir nudžiugau, ir šiek tiek nusiminiau.. Žinote, kaip ten sako apie pirmąjį įspūdį? Tai va pirmasis įspūdis privertė nusiminti.. Tačiau labai džiugu, kad tik jis ir kad šį kartą jis buvo labai apgaulingas!

It would be pretty mad for me to let a chance like this go when I can test some new make up brushes :) When I got this make up brushes set from Gosh, I was both - really delighted and at the same time a little bit disappointed. You know this thing about the first impressions and how they might be and are wrong sometimes? So that was it - my first impressions made me disappointed and only later on I've realized how wrong I was..

Savo įspūdžius norėčiau pradėti nuo fakto, kodėl rinkinys mane šiek tiek nuvylė. Kadangi esu išbandžiusi nemažai įvairiausių firmų šepetėlių, dėmesį kreipiu ne tik į tai, iš kokių šerelių jie pagaminti, bet ir į tai, kaip atrodo patys šepetėliai. Deja, šių šepetėlių dizainas man nepasirodė itin patrauklus. Matinis ir ilgas pagrindinis šepetėlio kotas, pereinantis į blizgų koto ir šerelių sujungimą ir sintetiniai šereliai. Gamintojo logotipas ir itin aiškus šepetėlio paskirties užrašas bei jo numeris. Lyg ir nieko keisto, lyg ir nėra prie ko prikibti, įprasta daugumai šepetėlių, tačiau patys šepetėliai itin lengvi ir tarsi šaukia esą nekokybiški. DEJA čia aš ir klydau :) Ne veltui sako - nespręsk apie knygą iš jos viršelio..

I would like to start my review mentioning the fact why I got a bit disappointed at the beginning. I've tried and used many different brands of brushes so at this stage I pay my attention not only to how the brushes work, but how it looks, as well. So the design of these brushes, even though it looks like there is nothing really to talk about that much - black matte handle and synthetic hair connected together using shiny metal partition. Really nothing unusual and many brands use it. But the weight of each brush is so light and I immediately thought that won't be my cup of tea.. And dear oh dear how wrong I was.. I now this saying "Don't judge the book by it's cover" is made up for a reason, right?

Taigi vieną bandymų pilną dieną prisėdau ir nusprendžiau makiažą pasidaryti naudodama visus arba kaip įmanoma daugiau šių Gosh šepetėlių. Ir čia mano nuomonė visiškai pasikeitė! Powder 003 - didelis šepetėlis skirtas presuotai pudrai tepti. O Dievai! Nuostabiai tinkamas jo dydis, ne per minkšti ir ne per šiurkštūs šereliai, pudros skirstymui patogi forma.. Vienas malonumas naudoti :) Blusher 009 - skaistalų šepetėlis, savo forma šiek tiek panašus į pudros šepetėlį, tačiau mažesnis ir, drįsčiau teigti, jog šiek tiek tankesniais šereliais. Mane nustebino tai, jog paima reikiamą kiekį produkto (skaistalų) ir itin gerai jį paskirsto ant odos. Contour 013 - kontūravimui skirtą šepetėlį naudoju kaip Dievo siųstą išganymą! Dėl savo formos ir šerelių jis puikiai išsklaido kontūravimui užteptą priemonę nenuvalydamas jos nuo veido ir kartu nepalikdamas rudų blynų. Tiesa, pačiu šepetelių kontūravimo priemonės netepu, tam naudoju visiškai kitos formos ir firmos šepetėlį, tačiau šiuo sklaidyti priemone ir kontūruoti veidą vienas malonumas! Na ir mano rečiausiai naudojamas, tačiau ne ką prastesnis šepetėlis, skirtas veido makiažui - Concealer 015. Tai šepetėlis, skirtas įvairių bjaurysčių ant odos maskavimui. Nedidukas, tačiau puikiai tinkamas prieiti net pačias nepatogiausias veido vietas (juk sako, kad svarbu ne ūgis, o smūgis!). Tačiau tokio dizaino (ploni ir plokšti) šepetėliai man iš esmės tiesiog nelabai patinka (didesnis tokios formos šepetėlio pavyzdys būtų skystai pudrai) ir naudoti jų aš nepriprantu.. 

So one of these Make Up On days I just sat down and decided to give these brushes a go and do my make up of the day using all or at least most of them. And that was place and time when my opinion totally changed :) Powder 03 - big fluffy brush for the pressed powder. Using it is a complete pleasure! Perfect shape, bristles aren't too soft or too hard on the skin, very easy to spread the product on the skin. Blusher 009 - blush brush that looks similar to powder brush just smaller, more narrow and I feel like bristles are thicker in this brush. I was pretty surprised how it takes the exact needed amount of the blush and spreads it on the skin very well. Contour 013 - brush used for contouring your face. And I'm using it so often now! I love how easy it is to blend the product on the skin and shape the face, the bristles are so soft and nice and the shape of the brush is very comfy! I'm not, however, using it to apply an actual contouring product, but as a blending brush it is an amazing one. And the brush that I currently use the least but it is definitely not the worst - Concealer 015. It is used to conceal and cover the blemishes, redness and whatever you want. The only problem is that I don't really like this shape of the brushes (flat and skinny) so I just can't get used to use it..

Kita mano gautų ir tikrai mane nustebinusių šepetėlių grupė - akių makiažui skirti įrankiai. Turiu pripažinti, kad iki šiol normaliai neišbandžiau tik vieno šepetėlio - Lip/Eye Liner 029. Tai šepetėlis, tinkamas naudoti dviem būdais - akių pravedimui arba lūpų dažymui. Jį kol kas naudojau tik vieną kartą ir tik lūpų dažų kontūrui sutvarkyti, kuomet maskuojamaja priemone dažiau aplink lūpas taip dar labiau paryškindama ir suaštrindama raudoną lūpų spalvą. Visų kitų šepetėlių akims tiek dydis, tiek švelnumas, tiek kokybė mane itin nustebino. Eye Shadow Precision 023 bei Eye Shadow Shaper 025 šepetėliai idealūs tiems preciziškiems šešėlių potėpiams išoriniame akies voko kampe norint tinkamai ir gražiai išformuoti V raidės spalvą. Eye Shadow Blender 019 - puikus šešėlių sklaidymo įrankis, idealiai atitinkantis mano voko raukšlės dydį, todėl nei vienas potėpis nepraeina pro šalį ar netinkamai. Eye Shadow Shader 021 šepetėliu idealiai paskirstau šviesią spalvą po visą voką prieš pradėdama žaisti spalvomis, taigi dėl savo dydžio, formos ir tankumo šis šepetėlis man sutaupo ir laiko, ir spalvos, kadangi paima tinkamą kiekį produkto ir jį labai puikiai paskirsto ant voko. Na ir nuostabus Eye Shadow Sweep 017 šepetėlis, kurį naudoju norėdama voką padengti viena spalva (kuomet nenaudoju skirtingos spalvos išoriniam akies kampui) ir tuomet ją švelniai paskirstyti po voko raukšlę. Didelis, švelnus, minkštas, puikios, šiek tiek kirstos formos. Nuostabus šepetėlis!

Another set of Gosh brushes included only eye shadow (and one multi-usage) brushes. I was also very surprised with them! The only brush that I haven't used properly yet is Lip/Eye Liner 029. I'm not really used to do myself an eyeliner and I'm also not very used to use lip brushes for my lips. So I've only used this brush once with a concealer to sharpen and make my bright red lipstick look more perfectly on the lips. And I'm very pleased and delighted with every other eye brush - starting with the quality, softness of the bristles, size, etc. Eye Shadow Precision 023 and Eye Shadow Shaper 025 eye brushes are just simply perfect for creating precise V shape for the outer corner of the eyelid. Eye Shadow Blender 019 is one amazing brush to blend out the colors on the eyelids and its' size perfectly matches the size of my eyeballs! (or should I better say eye crease? :) ). So none of the color goes into the wrong place when I'm using this blending brush. Eye Shadow Shader 021 is perfect for covering lid with light color before beginning to play with other colors on the eyelids :) It grabs a product very well and saves me time and effort to cover my lid with an eyeshadow. And last but not least Eye Shadow Sweep 017 - brush that I highly use when I only want to paint my eyeballs with one shade without adding that perfect V outer corner etc. It's angled shape and quite large size perfectly puts the color on the lid and also blends it off in the eye crease. So what brush could be better to achieve a nice look so fast? :)

Na, ir pabaigai, minusas ir pastebėjimas būtų tik toks - plaudama šepetėlius pastebėjau, jog keli veido makiažui skirti šepetėliai, deja, pradėjo mesti šerelius.. Todėl manau, kad Gosh investavę į pačių šepetėlių (visų sujungimo dalių, klijų ir kt.) kokybę galėtų išleisti tikrai nuostabių šepetėlių rinkinį. Nes juk pirminę nuomonę sudaro būtent produkto pakuotė, kuri šiuo atveju iš pirmo žvilgsnio neatrodo itin kokybiška ir ilgalaikė..

To sum it all up I could only mention one negative thing for the ending - when washing my Gosh brushes I've noticed that some of the face brushes actually were losing their bristles. So I definitely think that if Gosh could invest a little bit more time, effort and money into the packaging (connection details, glue, etc.) of their brushes, they would definitely come up with an amazing set of make up brushes! Because as we all know, first impressions are mostly created by looking at the packaging which, in this case, doesn't look the best, the most expensive and lasting the longest..
