Admire the beauty.

Nors iš savo gimtosios šalies išvykau pakankamai neseniai (priklausomai nuo to, kaip kas matuoja laiko tarpą :) ), tačiau aplink mane lietuviškų reikaliukų sukasi tikrai pakankamai nemažai. Mano geriausia draugė - žavinga lietuvaitė, mano mylimasis - nuostabus lietuvis. Mano ypatingoji manikiūristė irgi nuostabi moteris iš Lietuvos. O mano šaldytuve dažnai rasi lietuviškos varškės ar sūrio :) Retkarčiais pasimėgaujame lietuviškais filmais, nuolat skaitau lietuviškos rašliavos spaudinius ar tinklaraščius ir nuolat bendrauju savo gimtąja kalba, nepriklausomai nuo to, kad darbo dienomis ir gana dažnai laisvalaikiu bendrauju užsienio kalba. Visa tai - mane supanti kasdienybė, kuri, turbūt, vienoda pas daugumą emigrantų. Tačiau išvykusi iš Lietuvos aš jokiu būdu nepamiršau ir dar vienos lietuviškos gėrybės - auksarankių lietuvaičių, kuriančių grožį ir džiaugsmą akims.

Even though I left my country not so long ago (well, it depends actually of how everyone measures the time frame), but there are still plenty of Lithuanian thingies surrounding me. My best friend is amazing Lithuanian girl, my beloved one is Lithuanian guy. My lovely nails technician is gorgeous woman from Lithuania. You can always find some Lithuanian curd and cheese in our fridge. Sometimes we spend our free time watching Lithuanian movies, I always read Lithuanian magazines or blogs and I always communicate in my own language, even though at work and in my daily life I have to speak foreign language. But all of this daily life is probably usual to all of the immigrants. However there is one more thing that I definitely have not forgot about when I left my country - those amazing people with golden hands who create fabulous hand-made pieces and make my soul sing.

Life lately.

Lengvas atotrūkis nuo kosmetinių apžvalgų, pirkinių ir kosmetinio pamišimo turbūt niekam nepamaišė. Tai leidžia į daug ką žvilgtelėti pailsėjusiomis, šiek tiek labiau atviromis ir itin išsiilgusiomis akimis :) O kai gyvenimą užpildo kiti malonumai, belieka į tai pasinerti ir jais mėgautis..

A small backing up from being mad about make up, its' reviews and new purchases probably is not the worst thing and might also be helpful sometimes. It allows to look at things from a different angle, with eyes a bit wider opened and relaxed :) And when the life brings you some new interesting fillers - you just open your hands and enjoy.. 

Morocco? Just some Moroccan Mint Tea for the starter, please.

Kaip sutiksi Naujus Metus - tokie jie ir bus. Ar tikite šiuo prietaru, jeigu jį taip galėtume pavadinti? :) O gal labiau įsitikinimas.. Bet kuriuo atveju, savo Naujus metus sutikau tikrai puikiai. Smagioje kompanijoje su puikiais žmonėmis, taure šampano ir puikia muzika. Ir fone tvyrančiu itin skaniu, bet ne pernelyg sodriu Moroccan Mint Tea kvapu. Būtent todėl labai tikiuosi, kad visi 2015 man bus pripildyti skanių kvapų ir jaukios atmosferos. Tačiau šiandien noriu papasakoti, iš kur sklido tas puikus namus užpildęs lengvas mėtos kvapas...

There is a saying (or a belief, or tradition, or I just don't really know how to call it) that your year will be the way you have celebrated the New Years Eve. Do you know this? Well I've met this 2015 pretty amazing - with the great company, a glass of champagne and some great music. And also with this lovely soft Moroccan Mint Tea smell in the air. This is the reason why I wish that my 2015 will be covered with lovely aromas, smells and atmosphere throughout. However today I just want to tell you where this lovely surrounding mint smell came from..
