Geri pagrindai ir pamatai reikalingi ne tik santykiams, būstui, verslui ar apskritai gyvenimui, bet ir makiažui. Turbūt net ir geriausios priemonės, skirtos veido ar akių makiažui, nesužydi pačios iš savęs taip puikiai, kaip tai pavyksta padaryti kartu naudojant priemonei skirtą pagrindą. 

Really good base is required not only for the relationships, homes, businesses and the life itself - really good base is also required for the great make up. I do believe that even the best make up products won't look as good on their own as it looks using special primers and bases.

Gero akių šešėlių pagrindo aš ieškojau jau kurį laiką. Vieną radusi lyg ir buvau, tačiau nesibaigiančioje ir nuolat vis atsinaujinančioje makiažo srityje rasti vieną patinkantį produktą ir likti prie jo - itin sunku, nes kiekviena sritis siūlo vis kažką kitokio, kažką naujo, kažką geresnio (ar prastesnio) už tokio pat tipo kitos firmos produktą. Nesibaigiantis bandymų ratas.. Todėl radusi kažką įdomaus, tai įsidėmiu ir bandau kažką naujo. Tačiau bandymas, apie kurį noriu šiandien papasakoti, mane nuvylė po to, kai maniau, jog tikrai radau ypatingą priemonę..

For a good while I was trying to find really great eye shadow primer. I have kind of found that great one, however as the make up business is never ending in this world and every day every manufacturer brings up something new, it is almost impossible to find one product that you like and stick to it as you always want to try out something new, find something better or disappoint yourself with something worse.. It's like a closed loop of trying, testing and discovering.. So when I find something interesting - I keep that in mind for the laters and then looking for something new. However the product that I want to review today was a really great discovery until I've started noticing some annoying things and then it simply became one of those "Not to use" products..

Kaip pasakytų mano anglakalbiai pažįstami - Long time no see! Ir tikrai - susimąsčiau, kad kol su vyru gana intensyviai dirbame prie mano naujojo projekto, šį tarsi ir apleidau.. Bet gi taip negalima :) Todėl kibau į darbus ir šiandien atbėgu su savo antakių rutinos perliukais. Nes aš jau gana seniai supratau faktą, jog antakiai - vienas iš pagrindinių žavaus, įrėminto ir įsimintino veido bruožų. Net ir žaviausias makiažas gali būti sugadintas pasirinkus netinkamas priemones antakiams ar tiesiog jų nesutvarkius..

As my English speaking friends would say - Long time no see! And I realised that while me and my hubby are working on my new project, I somehow simply let this one stay a bit behind.. Which is unacceptable :) So I took out my stuff, started to work and today I am coming with some gems of my eyebrow routine. A good while ago I've realised that eyebrows are one of the most important parts of ones face. Even the best and most professional looking make up can be ruined with an eyebrows not on spot..

Urban Decay "Naked" eyeshadow palette

Akių šešėlių paletės - viena iš tų mano didelių ligų mano kosmetiniame krepšelyje (arba tiksliau tariant - dėžutėje). Nuostabios pakuotės, puikiai kartu sukomponuotos spalvos, kelios skirtingos produktų tekstūros, kompaktiškumas ir galimybė išbandyti kelis kompanijos produktus viename - kas gali būti geriau? Išbandžius vieną paletę meilė joms gimsta tiesiog automatiškai, tarsi savaime.. Pavieniai šešėliai nebedomina - o kam? Juk paletes naudoti žymiai linksmiau, patogiau, įdomiau ir tiesiog.. daugiau galimybių žaisti spalvomis :) 

Eyeshadow palettes are probably one of the biggest addiction in my make up bag (or should I say make up box?). Amazing packagings, well matched colours, different textures and shades, all packed quite compact and also opportunity to try out few different products of one company - what could be better? After I've tried my first palette, I felt that the love for them started growing inside of me just automatically, with no big effort.. I wasn't very interested in the single eyeshadows anymore - why would I? It was so much more fun to use eyeshadows from the palettes, so much easier, so much more interesting and simply.. there were just more options in the palette rather than in singles, you know :)

Mano pažintis su Urban Decay prasidėjo nuo dabar turbūt jau viena legendinių tapusios "Naked2" šešėlių paletės. Bet šiandien ne apie ją.. Po to, kai jau gana seniai įsigijau ją į savo kosmetinę, aš supratau, kad labai labai stipriai noriu tos pirmosios, kuri šiai dienai jau tikrai tapusi vienu legendinių dekoratyvinės kosmetikos produktų. Taip laikas bėgo, aš vis meditavau, kol vieną dieną nebeištvėrusi pati savo svarstymų, tiesiog ėmiau ir ją įsigijau. Ir šiandien, kai šią paletę jau kurį laiką naudoju, atbėgu su savo mintimis ir įvertinimais.

I started to introduce Urban Decay make up to myself from probably one of their now legendary palettes - "Naked2". However, it's not about this one today.. After I got that palette a really good while ago, I've realised that I want to get my hands on their first "Naked" palette which is for sure Legend No.1 at Urban Decay's range. Time went by and when I simply got tired of me meditating and deciding whether to get it or not, I just went online and bought it. And that was it. Now I had my hands on this palette for a little while (few weeks or so) and I'm sure that this is good enough time for me to share my opinion about it.
