Give 'em The Kiss.

Būti šiek tiek išprotėjusiai dėl priemonių lūpoms - ne taip jau ir paprasta. Reikia rūpintis ne tik nuolatiniu pamišimo dėžutės papildymu, bet dar ir pačiomis lūpomis, kad tos priemonės ant jų atrodytų tiesiog nuostabiai! Tokiais atvejais į pagalbą skuba ne kas kitas, kaip įvairūs lūpų balzamai arba tiesiog šveitikliai. Naudoti balzamų lūpoms aš taip ir neįpratau, tačiau štai lūpų šveitimas paskutiniu metu tapo mano must-have procesu. Šiandien aš ir vėl apie Lush bei jų puikųjį šveitiklį lūpoms.

Being a little bit crazy about the lippies isn't very easy. You have to take care not only about the top ups of your lip products in that never ending make up box, but also take care of your lips so that the lippies would look at their best on them! In the situations like that normally various lip balms or scrubs would be the first products in the row. However I'm still not used to use lip balms but the lip scrub is one of those must-have products in my kit right now. And today I want to share my review about Lush and their great lip scrub.

LUSH "The Kiss" Valentines Limited Edition lip scrub, 25g, ~€7

Lush firmos šveitiklį lūpoms jau esu bandžiusi seniau, tačiau jį turėjau visiškai kito kvapo, ne limituotos serijos ir.. nebaigusi naudoti tiesiog išmečiau. Įpročio nei lūpų produktams, nei jų priežiūrai tuo metu išsiugdžiusi dar nebuvau, taigi nutiko kaip nutiko. Tačiau kuomet užėjau į Lush retkartiniam išprotėjimui ir pamačiau šį limituotos linijos šveitiklį, ranka tarsi pati link jo išsitiesė.

I've tried another lip scrub from Lush previously but... haven't finished using it and simply had to bin it. I didn't had the habit of using lippies or lip care then so I just basically bought it after all the rave online about Lush lip scrubs, tried it and forgot about it. It is what it is sometimes, right? However when I went to Lush just recently and got a little bit mad about everything, I saw this "The Kiss" lip scrub from their Valentine's Limited Edition line and just simply got to have it.

Šis produktas, kaip ir visos Lush priemonės, pasižymi smagia, akį patraukiančia pakuote, ant kurios pateikta gana išsami informacija apie produktą (kada ir kieno jis buvo pagamintas, kokia sudėtis, kiekis bei naudojimo instrukcijos). Pats indelis tokio tipo priemonei man pasirodė šiek tiek nepatogus - jį gana sunku paimti, byra per kraštus, taip pat priemonę bus sudėtinga naudoti jau įpusėjus ar artėjant prie pabaigos. Šioks toks minusas. Sudėtyje puikuojasi tokie ingredientai kaip cukrus, druska, aliejai, dažikliai, kakavos sviestas ir pan. Paskaičius visa tai tarsi ir susimastai - tokią priemonę ganai nesudėtingai įmanoma pasigaminti ir namie, taigi kam pirkti? Klausimas turbūt retorinis.. :) Nors ši limituotos linijos priemonė lūpoms itin panaši į vieną klasikinės linijos Bubblegum skonio ir kvapo šveitiklį iš Lush, tačiau skirtumas yra intensyvesnė rožinė spalva (daugiau dažiklių meilės dienos proga?) bei staigmena ir smagus prisilietimas iš gamintojo pusės - raudonos mažos širdys pačiame produkte. Ar jos suteikia kažkokios papildomos naudos? Turbūt tik šveitimo prasme labiau šveičia lūpas.. Tiesa, kalbant apie patį šveitiklio poveikį - nusiskundimų neturiu. Lūpas priemonė nušveičia tikrai labai gerai, aliejais ir sviestu jas padrėkina ir pamaitina, po procedūros lūpos būna itin švelnios, minkštos ir saldžios :) Priemonę galima tiesiog nuvalgyti. Tiesa, dar vienas minusas - sudėtyje sausų produktų yra daugiau, nei šlapių, todėl šveitiklį naudojant jis byra - taip išsinaudoja ir daugiau priemonės, ir sukeliama didesnė betvarkė.

Just like all the other Lush products, this one comes in a really nice and eye catching packaging which contains most of the information that the package can contain about the product (when and who made it, ingredients, amount of the product and instructions of how to use it). However the packaging itself, in my opinion, isn't the best solution for a product like that - it is quite messy to use it from this packaging as the product goes all over the place and it will be hard to reach it and take it out when there is half or even less product left. Kind of a negative side for this scrub. Ingredients contains such a products like sugar, salt, oils, colouring stuff, cacao butter, etc. Well reading the list of the main stuff in the product it looks like it shouldn't be too hard to make a scrub yourself at home? I presume there is never an answer to a question like that though.. :) Also even though this scrub from their LE range looks kind of the same as their "Bubblegum" from the regular line, the difference is in the brighter colour (more colouring ingredients?) AND in the nice little touch - heart shaped thingies in the scrub itself. Oh, such a Valentine-y edition.. :) Does it give any additional plus to the product? I presume without the scrub being a little bit more harsh and a little prettier - no.. And to top it all up - the product itself works really well. It scrubs the lips very well leaving them soft, moisturized and simply sweet :) You can lick the remaining product off after the scrubbing procedure. Oh, one more negative side - product contains more dry ingredients than different oils so it kind of goes all over the place when using it. Deffo giving it a hard time to use and leaving a good bit of a mess after itself..

Na, ir pabaigai, rekomendacijos. Ar rekomenduočiau? Pabandymui - tikrai taip. Tačiau rimtam naudojimui? Nežinau, turbūt ieškosiu kažko patogesnėje pakuotėje ir su mažiau dažiklių.. Išbandyti buvo smagu, vienok :)

And to sum it all up - recommendations. Would I recommend it? Definitely yes if you want to try it. However for a normal daily use - I'm not sure.. I think I'm gonna keep lookin' for something easier to use and with less colourants. It was really nice and interesting to try this one out, though.. :)
