I think that almost everyone who cares not only about the look but also about the health, is aware how bad can be damage of the sun and UV light to the skin and body overall. This is why it's very important not only to be smart when sunbathing and enjoying the heat and not always very friendly sun, but also to choose the products that would prevent your skin (and hair) from the real damage that sun can cause. It is great that companies are inventing different sun care products that prevents skin from the damage as well as helps to maintain that sometimes very hardly managed tan. Today I want to tell you more about two products that I've received a good while ago and that got my attention after very first use.
PUPA "Super Spray" & PUPA "Super After-Sun Cream"
Abi šios priemonės į mano namus atkeliavo dar vasaros pradžioje, kuomet turbūt didžioji pasaulio dalis ruošėsi arba jau išgyveno karščius, o štai smaragdo saloj buvo įprastas oras - nei to karščio, rodės, bus, nei ką.. Todėl nusiminusi, jog negalėsiu tinkamai išbandyti ir apžvelgti priemonių, saugojau jas liepos mėnesio atostogoms. Tiesa, net ir liepos atostogų metu Lietuva mus pasitiko labai jau mūsų įprastais airiškais orais ir karščiais taip pat nelepino. Kas mane itin nustebino - net kelias dienas prieš atostogas ir po jų Airiją aplankę karščiai, kurie būtent man ir leido išbandyti šiuos produktus ir susipažinti su jų poveikiu bei susidaryti savo nuomonę. O ją galutinai užtvirtinau rudens atostogų Graikijoje metu, todėl drąsiai pasakoju apie mano taip mėgiamos gamintojos Pupa saulės priemones!
I've received both of these products in the early summer when probably bigger part of the world was either preparing, or already enjoying summer heat. However, I live in Ireland and I'm almost used to the fact that the summer heatwave is kind of a rare scenario in here.. So I was a bit upset that I won't be able to test it out properly and review these products at the right time, but I kind of had an excuse and also a solution - my July holidays in Lithuania. And, of course, karma happened to me then. We went off to Lithuania in July, where you would deffo expect a good heatwave and as both - my and my husband's families - live by the sea there, some good time in the beach and all as the weather would normally be very hot and good at that time of the year, we've received nothing of that! As I say - Lithuania decided to meet and greet us with a weather that is more close to our current Irish climate, so we've got plenty of rain and no sunbathing at all.. However, Ireland here really surprised me with the summer this year - we've got good few days that were named as a heatwave and I got the chance to try these two out! I was DE-LIGHT-ED!! And then, of course, to top it all up like a cherry on the top of the pie, I brought these products on to my recent holidays in Greece where I could make my final decision and share my review with you, guys! :)
PUPA "Multifunction Super Spray intensive tanning SPF30" , 200ml, ~€25
Pirmiausia, be abejo, kaip visuomet Pupa produkcija mane paperka savo pakuotėmis, jų dizainu. Taip - ruda yra viena mėgstamiausių mano spalvų, todėl nėra jokių abejonių, kodėl pirmasis mano džiaugsmas buvo dėl gražios produkto pakuotės. Tiesa, iškart keli minusai šiuo klausimu - flakonėlio kamštelis nėra labai tvirtas, todėl po paskutinės kelionės jį kažkur pamečiau. Tai gali neraminti, jeigu purškiklį norite gabentis ne atskiroje kosmetinėje, o kartu su visais rūbais lagamine. Taip pat matosi, jog pats flakonas nėra pagamintas iš itin storo metalo, todėl šiek tiek apsilankstes. Ir taip pat manau, jog informacija galinėje pakuotės pusėje galėtų būti atspausdinta ne ant prilipinto popieriaus, bet ant paties flakonėlio, kadangi dabar popieriuje pateikta informacija visiškai nusitrynė ir net neįsivaizduoju kas joje buvo parašyta.. Tačiau keliaukime toliau - juk pakuotė yra tik pirminis ir tik vizualus vertinimo kriterijus, ar ne taip? :)
Firstly, of course, Pupa, as always, surprises and delights me with their chosen design of the packaging. Yes - brown is one of my favourite colours, so I was absolutely amazed with this product judging on it's design of the packaging. However, straight away you can notice few cons here - the cap of the bottle is lost somewhere in an amazing Greece, I suppose (lucky cap! :/ ), because it doesn't fix very well when closed. So this might be a problem for people who want to have the product in their luggage not somewhere in separate bag, but with all of the clothes. And also personally I think that it would be handy to print out the information at the back on the actual bottle rather than on the paper sticker, as now the information is totally gone and I have no idea what was written there.. But all in all - we judge the product by itself and not only by the packaging, right? So let's continue :)
Apskritai kaip priemonė, ši Pupa apsauga nuo saulės asmeniškai mane visiškai sužavėjo. Man itin patiko pasirinktas flakonėlio pakuotės tipas - jį naudoti itin patogu! Purkštis galima ne tik laikant buteliuką tiesiai, bet ir visaip jį vartant ir nuo to purškimas nei kiek nesikeičia. Taip pat, man priemonė kvepia karamele ar saldainiais ir kvapas išlieka ant odos pakankamai ilgą laiką (tačiau mano draugė sakė, kad jai priemonėje juntamas alkoholio kvapas). Smagu ir tai, kad produktas visiškai nelimpa ant odos, susigeria labai greitai, jo nereikia trinti ir jis tinkamas ne tik kūno, bet ir veido bei galvos odai (taip pat tinkamas ir plaukams), todėl vienos priemonės užtenka visiems atvejams! Tiesa, labai svarbu priemonės nepadauginti purškiant ją ant veido, ypatingai akių zonoje.. Užsimiršusi ir besimėgaujanti kvapu bei purškiklio poveikiu, pasipurškiau šiek tiek per daug ir mano jautrios akys sureagavo. Užteko jas pavalyti vata, sudrėkinta gėlame vandenyje, ir visas diskomfortas išgaravo :) Tad būkite atidūs ir saikingi! Mano vyras priemonę taip pat įvertino tinkamai, kiek tai įmanoma vyrui - dėl jos patogumo naudojant ir dėl neįkyraus kvapo. Ir, turiu pripažinti, šis purškiklis neleido mano odai skaudžiai nukepti, bet aš matau ir vis dar mėgaujuosi labai žaviu šokoladiniu įdegiu. Taigi, taip, taip, TAIP - aš labai labai rekomenduoju šią Pupa priemonę ir tikrai ją kartosiu! Ir, be jokios abejonės, labai svarbu paminėti, kad Pupa siūlo šią priemonę su trim skirtingais apsaugos lygiais - SPF6, SPF30 ir SPF50, todėl tikrai kiekvienas gali pasirinkti sau tinkamiausią ir norimiausią apsaugos lygio priemonę!
The product itself really fascinated me. I really like the type of packaging chosen for this type of product - it is so easy to use! You can spray the product not only by holding the bottle straight, but holding it in any way - it doesn't affect the spray at all :) The spray has a very nice scent of caramel or some sweets and it stays on skin for quite a long time. I love the scent of it, however my friend said almost straight away that she can feel the smell of alcohol in this.. What is very nice, that the spray doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky, comes out clear and dries instantly on the skin. It doesn't need to rubbed into the skin and it is also suitable for face and hair, so it's like one for all really :) However, you need to stay in the zone when spraying the product on your face, especially if you have sensitive eyes, like I do.. I've went a bit over and sprayed a bit too much of it while enjoying the scent and effect and what happened next was my eyes became all watery and sensitive.. Well I only needed to wipe them with clean cotton pad and fresh water, all was good then, but please keep in mind that this might happen. My husband also liked using this spray due to the ease and not too annoying scent. And, I have to admit, this spray really protected my skin from being sun burnt and also helped me to maintain than nice chocolate-y tan. So absolutely YES - I do recommend this product very much and I will most certainly repurchase it myself! And, what is also important - to all of you with different likings for the SPF levels, Pupa created few different levels of SPF for this spray - SPF6, SPF30 and SPF50, so all the babes can choose what's best for them and enjoy this spray with me! :)

Mane žavi kompanijos pasirinkimas pakuotėms ir jų spalvoms. Juk kaip ir logiška - prieš įdegant mums norisi rudos odos, todėl ir priemonės nuo saulės atkeliauja rudose pakuotėse. Po įdegio norisi tik vėsos, vandens, gaivos, o čia štai ir priemonės po saulės atkeliauja gaivios mėlynos spalvos pakuotėse :) Ši pakuotė, lyginant su prieš tai aptarta Pupa priemone, mane džiugina kur kas labiau - kamštelis užsidaro itin sandariai ir patikimai, kompanijos sprendimas visą informaciją apie produktą atspausdinti ant pačios pakuotės, o ne vien ant priklijuojamo popieriaus, tikrai puikus. Medžiagos, naudotos pakuotei pagaminti, minkštos ir paslankios, todėl itin lengva kremą išspausti iš tūbelės. Žodžiu, viskas super, informatyvu, patogu ir talpina puikų produktą!
I am fascinated of how companies chooses the colours for the packagings of their products. It is quite logical really - before the sunbathing you are only dreaming about the heat and tanned brown skin, so products before sun comes in brown or yellow packagings. And then after the sun all you can think of is really some breeze, water, fresh and crisp feeling, so products for after sun care mostly comes in these blue, grey, ocean blue, white packagings :) The packaging of this Pupa product, comparing to previously reviewed, makes me happier due to some points - the cap closes very securely and doesn't let the cream come out. Companies' decision to print out all of the information about the product is really great step as by this day (and the cream is used in shower) all of the stuff is still on the tube and didn't washed off! And the tube itself is made from easy squeezable material, so it is very easy to use the product. All in all - super, informative, easy to use and contains some really cool (in all ways) stuff inside! :)
Produktas tikrai atitinka tai, ką skelbia jo aprašymas. Puikiai atgaivina ir ramina odą po deginimosi, maitina ir minkština bei apsaugo nuo lupimosi dėl šių priežasčių. Dėl naudotos Sun optimizer technologijos kremas paruošia odą sekančiam pasilepinimui saule taip padėdamas spartinti įdegio procesą ir ilgiau išsaugoti patį įdegį. Kaip ir priemonės nuo saulės, taip ir šis produktas puikiai tinka ne tik kūno, bet ir veido bei plaukų priežiūrai ir atgaivinimui po saulės vonių. Šio kremo sudėtyje nėra parabenų ir jo naudojimo tinkamumas yra patikrintas dermatologų, todėl jautrios odos savininkės - galite būti ramesnės ir drąsiai išbandyti šią priemonę :) Taip pat turiu paminėti, jog kremą itin patogu naudoti - tai tarsi dušo gelis, kurį užsitepi po prausimosi dar duše, palaikai ant odos kelias minutes ir nuplauni.. Oh, tas paskui sekantis vėsumo ir gaivumo jausmas!! Nepersistenkite su kremo kiekiu, nes aš pirmus kelis kartus šiek tiek padauginau ir, sąžiningai, turėjau lįsti po antklode, nes man atrodė, kad kūną aplankė žiema :D Vienok savotiškai smagus ir įdomus tas šaldymo jausmas.. Pats kremas, skirtingai nuo saulės purškiklio, yra baltos spalvos, todėl labai lengva matyti, kur kremo jau užtepėte, o kur dar jo trūksta. Ir nusiplauna jis lengvai ir greitai, nepalikdamas jokių bereikalingų lipnių plėvių ant odos.. Žodžiu, visapusiškai smagi ir gera priemonė!
The product really does what it says on the tin. It refreshes and calms the skin after the sun bathing, moisturizes, softens and protects the skin from peeling off. Sun optimizer technology prepares the skin for the next sun bathing and helps not only to maintain, but also to speed up the tanning process. Just as the previous product, this Pupa after-sun cream is suitable for body, face and hair. It doesn't contain any parabens and was tested by dermatologists, so owners of seriously sensitive skin - some green light for you as you can check this one out! :) I also want to mention that the cream is very easy to use - it is like a shower gel that you have to use after body wash, leave it on your skin for a few minutes and was it off. Oh, that amazing feeling of the chill then after!! But just to mention - don't overuse it, as first couple of times I've used a bit too much and felt myself like in Arctic or whatever as even the duvet couldn't warm me up for a bit :D On the other hand, that chilly and fresh feeling is a really exciting experience. The white colour of the cream really helps when using it as you can see where you've already placed the product and which parts still needs to be covered. And when washing it off, it comes off completely and doesn't leave any stickiness on the body. So, overall, one hell of a nice stuff!
