Enjoy the little things: Kate Spade & Carat London earrings

Turbūt ne veltui egzistuoja posakis, kad papuošalai - geriausi merginų draugai (na, aš žinau, kad taip sakoma apie deimantus, o bet tačiau.. :) ). Jau kurį laiką mano santykiai su įvairiais aksesuarais nėra itin draugiški. Nors po santuokos savo žiedų dėžutę papildžiau vos vienu žiedu, tačiau jį nešioju itin retai (nekalbant apie sužadėtuvių ir vestuvinį žiedus). Taip pat mano papuošalų dėžutėje iki šiol neatsirado nei vienas naujas kaklo papuošalas (turiu tik Pandora Essence grandinėlę su keliais itin reikšmingais karoliukais), na o štai ausis karts nuo karto padabina vienas ar kitas naujas aksesuaras. Tik turiu pripažinti, kad dėl mano kasdienio važinėjimo į darbą ir iš jo motoroleriu, mano auskarai turi būti ne tik gražūs bei tinkami darbui ofise (jokio ažiotažo ir ekskliuzyvo ausyse), bet kartu ir patogūs, kad dažnai nešiojamas šalmas nekliūtų bei nespaustų auskarų man į galvą :) Šiandien noriu jums papasakoti savo įspūdžius apie dvi poras auskarų, kurias abi gavau dovanų Kalėdų proga ir kurias abi jau spėjau itin pamilti.

I do believe there is a strong reason for a saying that jewelry is a girls best friend (yes, I know this saying mainly speaks for diamonds, but come on now.. :) ). For a good while now my relationship with different accessories is a bit tough. I've only got one new ring to my accessories box after the wedding (and I'm not counting my wedding band or engagement ring to this) which I would wear from time to time only. I haven't got any new neck accessories so far (except for my favorite Pandora Essence necklace with few very important beads I don't really like wearing any others), but from time to time a get a pair of new earrings. Although it is pretty hard to get a pair that would suit me really well due to my daily driving on the moped and wearing a helmet - they have to not only be good looking (or at least my taste :D ) but also be comfortable to wear under the helmet and not make a hole in my neck :) So today I would like to share my opinion about these two gorgeous pairs of earrings that I've received for Christmas and already fell in love with.

Aš gyvenime kartais vadovaujuosi principu, jog svarbu ne spėti įšokti į kartu su mada belekiantį traukinį, bet išanalizuoti, ar verta jo vytis ir tik tada keliauti į artimiausią stotelę, kurioje jis stoja arba tiesiog leisti jam važiuoti be manęs.. Turbūt taip nutiko (ir vėl..) su šiuo aksesuaru, kurį šiandien noriu aprašyti čia. Galiu sakyti, kad pagaliau mano gyvenime atėjo tokia diena, kuomet šokau kartu su visais į tą pamišimo ir pomėgio traukinį, kuris gabena žmones, besidžiaugiančius ne kuo kitu, o būtent Daniel Wellington laikrodžiais, tačiau ji nebuvo impulsyvi - ji buvo išlaukta, išnorėta ir dalinai šiek tiek paveikta aplinkos spaudimo. Kodėl? Papasakosiu :)

I sometimes follow my own guts when it goes to that train which is going fast with a fashion. It is worth researching and analyzing it before just impulsively deciding to jump on it and ride. And sometimes after that analysis I would make a final call - whether to go on board at the nearest stop or to let it go without me.. I think yet again this has happened to me with another accessory which I want to shortly review today. I can say now that finally THE day has arrived when I jumped onto that fashion - leading train full of people enjoying their amazing Daniel Wellington watches and accessories. However this wasn't very impulsive - it was more like really badly wanted, patiently waited for (and if you know me well enough - you will know that I have no patience) and in some way a bit pushed by the surrounding. Why? I will tell you all about it :)

Floral Spring.

Pavasarinė saulė, Dievaži, veikia mano sielą :) Ir visiškai nesvarbu, kad pas kažką šiandien sninga ar vakarykštis sniegas tirpsta, kad pas mane pačią šalta kaip šiaurės ašigaly, ir kad oras šiai dienai toli gražu neprimena to saulėto pavasario.. Tačiau kartais reikia tiek nedaug - vidinio puikaus šilto nusiteikimo, ryškaus lūpdažio ir.. lengvai pavasariškų aksesuarų. Būtent apie vieną jų šiandien noriu papasakoti Jums.

Spring sunshine. Jaynie macars, it definitely affects me big time :) And it doesn't really matter that in some parts of the world it is currently snowing or yesterday's snow is still melting. It doesn't matter that even at my place it is currently cold as hell and no traces of sunshine. The most important thing is the attitude set towards the situation, the good and warm feeling inside, some bright lippie and.. some light spring-ish looking accessories. Today I want to share my opinion about some amazing piece of accessories :)

Jie sako "Deimantai - geriausi moterų draugai". Dar sako "Papuošalų moterims niekada nebus per daug". Ir dar sako, kad apskritai ne daiktas žmogų puošia, o žmogus daiktą.. Ar yra viena tiesa? Tikrai ne. Faktas vienas - papuošalai džiugina širdį :)

And they even say that it's not the thing that makes one look pretty - it's the person who makes the thing looks amazing. Is there one big truth? For sure not. But there is one fact - jewelry always makes people happy :)

Apie savo meilę Pandora papuošalams jau pasakojau šiame tinklaraščio įraše, tačiau tuo metu buvau atradusi tik vienos linijos ir vieno tipo papuošalus. Dabar gi mano papuošalų dėžutėje puikuojasi beveik pilna standartinės kolekcijos apyrankė su įvairiausiais įvykius ir žmones simbolizuojančiais karoliukais, Essence linijos karoliukai su grandinėle kasdien puošia mano kaklą, o visai neseniai mano dėžutę papildė ir dar vienas šios linijos gaminys - raudono aukso spalvos žiedas.

A good while ago I've already admitted my love for Pandora as I made a post in my blog with a new addition to my jewelry box - Pandora classic bracelet and some charms. The post was written in Lithuanian language so I won't share the link here. At the moment my jewelry box gets to enjoy not only that Pandora bracelet nearly full of different charms, but I also wear daily a necklace with three charms from its' "Essence" collection. And recently I got one more item to my Pandora collection - an amazing ring from the Rose Gold line.
