Šiam pasauly aš turiu tokių silpnybių, kurioms ribų nėra ir kurios nėra taip lengvai paaiškinamos. Na, pavyzdžiui, kas liečia maistą - man vienas nuostabiausių produktų yra bulvės. Taip, būtent bulvės. Galėčiau turbūt visą dieną misti jomis ir nenusibostų :D Nepaaiškinama, žinau. Tačiau taip jau yra.. Aprangos pasaulyje batai yra mano totali silpnybė. Galėčiau turbūt paskęsti batų baseine arba visomis progomis vis prašyti naujos poros batų ir vis tiek man jų niekada nebūtų per daug. Na, o grožio pasaulyje toks reikalas man turbūt yra makiažo šepetėliai. Taip, apskritai grožio priemonės man yra silpnybė iš esmės, tačiau jei reikėtų kažką pasirinkti tarp, tarkime, naujo lūpdažio, naujo šešėlio ar naujo šepetėlio - rinkčiausi pastarąjį. Na, be jokios abejonės, turint tokį kiekį kosmetikos tik šepetėlių man ir tereikia :) Jau ne kartą esu minėjusi, kad mėgstu išbandyti vis naujus šepetėlius, o kadangi plauti turimą kiekį - procesas varginantis ir ne iš maloniausių, tai naujų šepetėlių išmėginimas visuomet yra dvigubai malonus - senųjų plovimas šiek tiek nusikelia, kosmetinę papildo naujos priemonės, o ir aš išbandau kažką naujo ir įdomaus. Taigi šiandien noriu Jums papasakoti apie naują akių makiažo šepetėlių rinkinį, atkeliavusi į mano namus dar prieš šventes ir šiuo metu sudariusį jau gana stiprią ir aiškią nuomonę.
I have some weaknesses in my life that have no limits and that cannot be explained very simply. For the likes of food - I love potatoes. It's completely unexplainable, but I do believe that I could live eating potatoes all day long in different formats and would have no problem with it whatsoever :D When it goes to clothing - I cannot stop myself from buying new shoes. I sometimes think that I could drown in the pool full of shoes or I could ask for a new pair of shoes for every occasion in my life and I still wouldn't have enough of them! And when it goes to the beauty stuff - a girl can never have too many make up brushes. Yes, I know that in general I am a beauty junkie and a beauty addict, however if someone would make me choose an eyeshadow, lippie or a new brush - at the moment I truly believe that I would go for a brush. Because having such a huge amount of make up products, I need to have the stuff to apply those products, right? :) I have mentioned quite a few times that I love trying out new brushes and this works really well when the time comes to wash my current brushes.. It is always easier to buy a set of brushes, try them out, use them and when the washing time comes - buy another batch.. You get me? :D So today I would like to share my opinion about the set of brushes that I've bought myself before the festive season and at this stage I have quite a strong opinion about them.

Pirmiausia norėčiau paminėti, jog makiažo šepetėlius pirkti rinkiniuose nelabai mėgstu. Dažniausiai todėl, kad bent vieno ar kelių šepetėlių iš rinkinio nelabai panaudosi, todėl pirkti pavienius išsirenkant pagal savo poreikius visuomet yra lengviau ir paprasčiau. Tačiau šiems šepetėliams net ir rinkinyje atsispirti negalėjau. Mane vienareikšmiškai sužavėjo jų dizaine panaudotos rausvo aukso detalės (taip taip, žinau - šarka..), o taip pat panorau išbandyti Airijoje pakankamai žinomos ir būtent airiškos grožio kompanijos produkciją. Tačiau ar apsidžiaugiau gavusi ir išbandžiusi šį šepetėlių rinkinį?
For the beginning I would like to mention that I'm not really a fan of buying brushes in sets. Most of the times I wouldn't use one or more brushes from the set, so it is always a bit easier to buy specific brushes on their own. But I was so impressed by the design (and price) of this brush set, that I simply couldn't resist buying them! And I also wanted to try out something very Irish :) But was I happy with my purchase after trying it out?

This set contains eight different eye make up brushes: from the overall lid shader, eye liner, few types of blending brush to small and detailed smudger. So basically it contains everything that a make up lover would need to use and each brush has its own purpose.
201 Crease Diffuser
Crease Diffuser akių šepetėlis yra skirtas šešėliui voko raukšlėje išsklaidyti. Vidutinio ilgio pakankamai stambios apimties, vidutinio švelnumo šepetėlis puikiai išsklaido šešėlį ir tam nereikia dėti itin didelių pastangų.
Crease Diffuser eye brush is used to blend the shadow in the eye crease. It is made from rather soft (medium soft I would say) mid-length mid-scaled bristles and it works great as a blending brush for the crease - don't need to put much effort to get the shadow blended well.
207 The Sweeper
Šiek tiek trumpesniais šereliais ir pakankamai plokščias The Sweeper šepetėlis yra ideali priemonė viso voko padengimui spalva. Jo dydis puikiai tinka mano akies vokui - nėra nei per didelis, nei per mažas. Kaip ir prieš tai aptartas šepetėlis, šis taip pat yra vidutinio minkštumo, puikiai paima produktą. Tačiau minusas - po naudojimo būtent šis šepetėlis man išsiplovė praščiausiai iš visų ir jo šereliai liko patamsėję, nors ploviau taip pat, kaip ir kitus. Taigi forma, dydis bei tai, kaip atlieka savo darbą, mane tenkina, tačiau šerelių kokybė šiek tiek nuvylė.
Flat, short-bristled The Sweeper brush is a perfect tool to put the shadow on overall lid. The size of this one is perfect for my eyeballs as it is not too big or too tiny. I would also call this one a mid-soft and the bristles are great as they take the shadow really well, I don't need to tap the product or dig a hole in it to get the stuff on the brush. However, I have found a negative side after washing it - for some reason the bristles became darker after washing it and I don't understand why. It was washed same way as the others and only this one became darker.. So even though I am really happy with the size, shape and how it works, I am quite let down by the quality of the bristles.
209 Pointed Liner
Aš gana retai naudoju gelio tipo akių pravedimą, tačiau jeigu jau jį naudoju - visuomet stengiuosi į pagalbą pasitelkti būtent šio tipo akių pravedimo šepetėlį lenktu galu. Nors šio Pointed Liner šepetėlio forma man patiko ir lenktas galas yra puikiai tinkamo ilgio mano akims, tačiau patys šereliai galėtų būti šiek tiek plonesni (mažesnė šepetėlio apimtis) ir šiek tiek trumpesni. Dabar gi net ant rankos sunkoka dirbti šiuo šepetėliu, tai ką jau bekalbėti apie lengvą darbą juo nubrėžti pravedimą ant akies?
Gel liner is quite a rare guest on my make up routine, but if I use it - I would normally reach for a bent shape eye liner brush. I really liked the shape of this specific Pointed Liner brush, however after trying to get used to it I have to say that I wasn't impressed by the length of the bristles and by the amount of them. I would love it to be a little shorter and a litter skinnier as it would make my life so much easier using it - it's quite hard to even use it on the hand now, so I'm not talking about using it on the eye then..
213 The Smudger
The Smudger šepetėlis skirtas ne tik dūminiam, bet ir kruopštumo bei detalumo reikalaujančiam makiažui atlikti. Tai ta priemonė, kuri man idealiai pasitarnavo, kuomet dariausi Naujametinį makiažą ir pirmą kartą gyvenime naudojau pigmentus. Jis puikiai suvaldė pigmentus, kadangi yra mažas, tankus, trumpų šerelių ir plokščias. Taip pat būtent dėl jo smulkumo buvo itin lengva ir paprasta pigmentą dėti būtent ten, kur jo norisi ir reikia, o ne žibinti visą veidą ir paskui nebeatskirti voko nuo antakių :D Tiesa, būtent šis šepetėlis man pasirodė pats švelniausias iš visų! Jį vis norisi liesti ir liesti :)
The Smudger brush is a perfect tool to create either a great smokey eye look or a make up that requires great attention to small details. This brush is a tool that saved my day when I used pigments creating NYE make up look! It picked the pigment so well and put it in exact place where I wanted pigment to be as it's so small, short-bristled, flat and soft. Also due to the size of it I didn't end up like a sparkling unicorn - the shadow went exactly where it should go :) And I also think that this brush is the softest from all of the brushes in the set - I want to touch it all the time :)
202 Tapered Blending
Šis, iš viso rinkinio ilgiausiais šereliais besididžiuojantis, šepetėlis - Tapered Blending - skirtas tranzitinės šešėlio spalvos aplikavimui arba aštresnių linijų švelninimui (sklaidymui), taip pat puikiai tinkantis švytėjimo suteikiančio produkto aplikavimui po antakiu. Būtent šį šepetėlį galėčiau priskirti prie vidutinio minkštumo (nuo jau minėto Crease Diffuser skiriasi tuo, kad šereliai, vis tik, labiau linkę į minkštesnę pusę, o Crease Diffuser šiek tiek kietesni ir aštresni) ir produktą paima ne taip gerai ir gausiai. Tačiau būtent todėl jis man pasirodė puikus spalvos sklaidymui. Tiesa, minusas ir gana didelis - po plovimo šis šepetėlis išsipūtė ir prarado savo smulkią apimtį, ko pasekoje jis mane dalinai nuvylė. Žinau, kad šepetėlių džiovinimui galima naudoti specialius tinklelius, kurie neleidžia šepetėlių šereliams išsipūsti, tačiau norėtųsi, kad jie ir patys iš savęs šitaip nepapilnėtų!
This longest bristled brush - Tapered Blending - is a great tool for an application of the transit shade or simply for blending the harsh edges of the shadows. It is also great for applying highlighter on the bone under the eyebrow. I would call this brush mid-soft (i.e. comparing to Crease Diffuser this brush appeared softer, whereas Crease Diffuser is definitely more tough) and it doesn't take an eyeshadow that well. But I also think that this brush is so good for blending out the shadows! There is a huge negative side, though - after washing the brush it changed the shape and became not as skinny. It is now big, fat, fluffy brush which is concerning me as I would expect it to be a better quality. I know there are different types of nets, meshes, etc. for keeping the brush in shape after washing it and when it is drying, however I would just love it to be a bit better quality and doesn't go mad overboard with changing the shape!
205 Shader Crease
Tam, kad būtų galima sklaidyti voko raukšlės spalvą, pirmiausia reikią ją kažkuo užtepti :) Tam man puikiai tarnaujasi Shader Crease šepetėlis, skirtas būtent spalvos į akies voko raukšlę dengimui. Dėl savo formos, tankumo ir šerelių ilgumo šepetėlis paskirsto spalvą ten, kur jos reikia, be papildomo išpeckiojimo po visą pasaulį. Šį šepetėlį taip pat priskirčiau prie vidutinio minkštumo ir, deja, bet po plovimo jo šereliai taip pat šiek tiek išsipūtė. Tiesa - kur kas mažiau, nei aukščiau minėto Tapered Blending šepetėlio šereliai, tačiau paminėti jaučiu pareigą..
You have to have the shade on the crease to blend it out, right? So Shader Crease brush is a great brush to apply the colour on the crease of the eyeballs :) Due to its shape, thickness and length of the bristles, this brush applies the shadow where it needs to be without any unrequired fallouts or colour placements all over the world. I would also say that this brush can be called a mid-soft and, unfortunately, it has also changed the shape a bit after washing. Not as much as Tapered Blending, but still not ideal..
200 Blown Out
Blown Out šepetėlis puikiai išsklaido šešėlį ir nepalieka blynų. Tačiau jis man, ypatingai po plovimo, pasirodė pernelyg panašus į Tapered Blending šepetėlį, skirtumas tik šerelių ilgyje ir jų šiurkštume - Blown Out priskirčiau vidutinio kietumo, kuomet Tapered Blending minkštesni :)
Blown Out brush blends out the eyeshadow really well and doesn't let you leave the house with splodges on your face. However, I would really say, especially after I've washed it and it also changed the shape a bit, that a difference between Tapered Blending and this Blown Out is so small that I don't even know which one I like better! Well I would call this brush mid-hard comparing to Tapered Blending and the bristles of this one are shorter. Other than that - almost same, really :)
210 Precision Liner
Na ir pabaigai pasilikau vienareikšmiškai geriausią šepetėlį iš šio rinkinio - Precision Liner. Prieš kurį laiką atradau, jog būtent tokio tipo (plonos apimties, kirstos formos, trumpais - vidutinio ilgumo šereliais) šepetėliai man patogiausi ir idealiausi antakių dažymui. Taigi atradusi savo naujausią nuostabiausią gelio tipo priemonę antakiams (apie kurią papasakosiu visai netrukus! :) ) ir šį šepetėlį kasdien antakius dažausi su didžiausiu malonumu! Šiame šepetėlyje aš neradau absoliučiai jokių minusų - jis itin plonas ir po plovimo neišsipūtė, idealiai kirstas, puikaus ilgio šereliais. Tikrai žinau, kad nusipirksiu dar bent vieną atsarginį būtent šį šepetėlį!
And, of course, I kept the best for the last - Precision Liner. A while ago I've discovered that this specific type of the brush (really thin, angled and short - medium length bristled) is the most perfect tool for me to do my eyebrows. So when I found my newest best eyebrow gel (that I will tell you about at some later stage :) ) and this brush - I felt that I found my royal combo for the brows! I couldn't find any cons in this brush - it is very slim, it didn't changed its shape after washing, it has perfect angle and the length of the bristles is ideal. It all just sums up to one fact - I am definitely going to get another one of these!
Taigi, trumpai tariant - iš aštuonių šepetėlių du pasirodė nuostabūs, du pasirodė beveik vienodi, trys pasirodė tikrai labai geri ir puikiai atliekantys savo paskirtį, o vienas pasirodė tiesiog nelabai kam tikęs.. Ar vertėjo įsigyti rinkinį? Kuomet vieno šepetėlio kaina iš rinkinio gaunasi apie €3.10 - tokį rinkinį išbandyti tikrai verta, nes pavienio tokio šepetėlio kaina siekia apie €12. Gražus dizainas, didžioji dalis šepetėlių puikiai atlieka savo paskirtį, rinkinys ateina kartu su dėklu / maišeliu šepetėliams (itin patogiu, tarp kitko), todėl tikrai rekomenduoju bent jau atkreipti dėmesį ir jei matote, kad panaudosite didžiają dalį šepetėlių - palepinkit save :)
So long story short - out of eight brushes two appeared to be perfect for my liking, two are almost identical to me, three are really good and does the job well and I don't think I'm going to be using one from the set. Was it worth getting the full set? Well, when it works out around €3.10 per brush from the set - it is definitely worth to give this a go because one brush costs around €12 and you get exactly the same tool! The design is gorgeous (especially that rose gold <3 ), almost all of the brushes works so good, the set comes with a nice and very comfy to use bag, so I would really recommend to have a look at these and maybe treat yoself, you know :)
