Man labai smagu turėti tokių priemonių, kurių paskirtis tarsi ir vienoda, jos tarsi apskritai nelabai kuo ir skiriasi, bet va išbandai, panaudoji ir pamatai tokių skirtumų, kad belieka aiktelėti "Ooo, vaikyti" ir tais savo atradimais pasidalinti su kitais. Čia lyg ir vienas iš tų atvejų, kuomet visi raudoni lūpdažiai toli gražu nėra vienodi ar tokios pat raudonos spalvos, o visi neutralūs šešėliai taip pat negali būti sulyginti kaip vienodi :) Taigi šiandien papasakosiu apie dvi grožio priemones, kurios jau tapo kultinėmis visame grožio pasaulyje ir tikrai nusipelno jei ne ankstesnės, tai vėlesnės apžvalgos (nes abi turiu jau pakankamai ilgą laiką).
I am so happy to have some products that are meant to do the same thing, that are almost the same, but you try them out, compare and realise that the difference between them is so big that you can't keep the excitement inside for yourself and want to share it with others! It's something similar to the fact where you know already that different red lipsticks cannot be called the "Same Red Lipstick" or that not all nude eye shadows are just same nude eye shadows :) So today I want to share my experience with two beauty products that are the cult at this stage and definitely deserves the review - later rather than never, in this case as both of these are in my make up bag for a good while now.

Pradžiai noriu trumpai paminėti, kad Yves Saint Laurent kompanijos produktas Touche Éclat maskuoja tamsius paakius ir paryškina gražiausius veido bruožus naudojant kaip highlighter'į, suteikia veidui gyvumo, sveikumo ir žvilgesnio. Šis produktas - vienas iš vizažistų must have sąrašo gaminių ir taip pat vienas iš tų makiažo priemonių, kurią nors kartą gyvenime bandžiusios yra dauguma makiažo mylėtojų.
First of all I would like to mention, that Touche Éclat by Yves Saint Laurent conceals dark circles and highlights the best features of the face, adding instant radiance to it. This is one of the must-have products for the make up artists and I truly believe that this is the product which was tried at least once by majority of the make up lovers.
Nors įprastai pradžioje aptarčiau vieną, o paskui - kitą priemonę, tačiau šiuo atveju abiems aptarimas būtų kone vienodas, todėl neskirstysiu priemonėmis, o tiesiog apžvelgsiu jų poveikį ir paskirtį.
Abi priemonės, jei ne skirtingo dizaino pakuotės (tiek kartoninė dėžutė, tiek pats pieštukas), atrodytų lyg ir absoliučiai vienodos. Tas pats klasikinis YSL Touche Éclat dizainas, vienodi teptukai, vienodas priemonės dozavimas, vienodas kiekis. Net ir spalvos produktų atrodo vienodos - nuotraukoms abu produktus panaudojus ant rankos aš net nesugebėjau atskirti, kur yra kuris. O bet tačiau, čia ir baigiasi visas panašumas :)
Normally I would speak about one item and then about the second, but in this case the review wouldn't differ too much, so I won't go into separation.
Both products would look exactly the same if the design of the packaging (both - carton box and the tube itself) wouldn't be different. Same classic design of YSL Touche Éclat - same brush, same type of tube, same amount, same clicker to dose the product, same info. Even the shades of the products looks same which made almost impossible to remember which product was on which side when testing them on my hand for the pictures and review. However, this is where the big massive difference steps in and changes the game completely :)

Jis lengvai maskuoja patamsėjusius paakius ir drąsiai gali būti naudojamas kaip iššviesinanti priemonė ant skruostikaulių, kupidono linkio, po antakiu ir pan. Priklausomai nuo to, kaip oda buvo paruošta prieš priemonės naudojimą ir ją panaudojus (drėkinimo, fiksacijos atžvilgiu), produktas gali į paakių raukšleles subėgti arba ne. Žinote, kaip kartais nutinka - būna dienų lyg tyčia, kai net ir mylimiausios makiažo priemonės neklauso, taigi ir man taip yra nutikę, kai dienai įpusėjus pamačius, jog nuostabusis Touche Éclat patogiai sau ilsisi mano mimikos raukšlėse po akimis :D
YSL Touche Éclat Slogan Edition to me definitely fully covers the description given by the manufacturer. It gives a soft cover for my dark under-eye circles and also can be definitely used as a highlighter which gives radiance and boosts my youth and energy. You can use it to highlight your cheekbones, area under your eyebrows, middle or tip of the nose, cupid's bow or anywhere else where your imagination wants to go wild! I've noticed that depending on how the skin was prepared before using it and how it was fixed, it might run into your under-eye wrinkles. Yup, all of us get those days when even the most trust-worthy and loved make up products give up on us and decide to live their life..
Viso šito džiaugsmo nelabai galiu papasakoti apie "sesę" YSL Touche Éclat Or Rose priemonę. Tariant kitais žodžiais - tai YSL rožinio aukso spalvos maskuoklis. Remiantis teorija jis turėtų daryti viską, ką daro visi šios serijos produktai. O bet tačiau, likau giliai nustebusi, kai išmėginau priemonę panaudoti patamsėjusių paakių maskavimui. Vieną vakarą su drauge susitikome vakarienei prieš prancūzų kursus (oj, koks sutapimas! prancūziškai priemonei išbandyti pasirinkau tokį vakarą.. :) ) ir ji nesusilaikiusi paklausė, kas nutiko mano paakiams, ką čia pasidariau. Trumpai tariant - žibėjau kaip disko kamuolys. Taip. Tik vėliau išnagrinėjau, kad būtent ši priemonė savo tekstūroje turi ne tik smagų ir daug nuveikiantį kremą, bet ir rausvo aukso spalvos žėručių, kurie tikrai nesusilieja į vientisą nuostabiai viską nušviečiančią masę, o nugula ant odos lyg paukščių tako žerėjimas ir leidžia aplinkiniams mėgautis diskoteka atsinešus savos muzikos.. Įdomiausia, kad darant apžvalgą ant rankos, šio aspekto prie dienos šviesos pastebėti buvo praktiškai neįmanoma - šie žėručiai man pasirodė tik dirbtiniame apšvietime ir pasirodė visame gražume!! Beliko pritarti, kad esu apsėsta vienaragių bei vaivorykščių stadijos ir noriu tiesiog žibėti kaip deimantas.
Taip pat pasidariau išvadą, jog šią priemonę galima naudoti tik kaip skaistalus ar highlighter'į virš skruostikaulio ir pan, bet jokiu būdu ne ant patamsėjusių paakių. Tikrai iššviesins, bet turbūt ne taip, kaip norėtųsi :D
But all of that jazz definitely cannot be said about the "sister from another mister" - YSL Touche Éclat Or Rose (or othervise - Rose Gold). According to the brand it should all be same nice lovely Touche Éclats giving same finish and results. But boy, oh boy, I was deeply surprised when I used the product to conceal my dark under-eye circles. One day I met my friend for a dinner before the French class (and I just realised now how symbolic it was - to properly try out french beauty product before the french class :) ) and she just couldn't keep the question and the wonder inside, so she popped the question about what happened to me and if I'm in my own mind. Long story short - I was definitely a walking, shining and sparkling disco ball. Yup. And I only found it out later on that this product from their "Or Rose" range contains not only nice creamy wonder, but also gorgeous looking and amazingly sparkling rose gold pieces of glitter which in no way, shape or form become one piece together with a product itself when using it on the skin. By no means! These sparkles live their own life on the skin and when the day hits the best time for them, they come out at their best looking like some Northern Lights or some disco dances where all that people need is to bring their own music.. What's most interesting - you couldn't see them dangle sparkles in the day light - they are only very, I mean VERY visible in the artificial lighting.. So all I could say to my friend was to admit that I am currently in the stage of loving unicorns and rainbows and simply want to shine bright like a diamond..
This was then when I made the decision to only use this gorgeous Or Rose shade as a highlighter and not as a concealer. This would deffo conceal them dark circles but not in a way that you would expect.. :D
Kalbant iš esmės, įdomu tai, jog JAV pardavėjai nurodo, jog limituotos kolekcijos YSL Touche Éclat produktai yra gaminami ir parduodami dviejų populiariausių atspalvių - 1 Luminous Radiance ir 2 Luminous Ivory. Tačiau kiek žvalgiausi ir klausinėjau Europos parduotuvėse, visur gavau tą patį atsakymą - limituotos kolekcijos Touche Éclat gaminami ir parduodami tik vieno populiariausio - 1 Luminous Radiance - atspalvio. Stebuklų šalis ta Amerika, vienok :)
Ar rekomenduočiau įsigyti tokio tipo produktą? Jei norisi save palepinti - kodėl gi ne? Malonus ir patogus naudojimui, neerzina odos, tikrai patenkina asmeninį ego ir turi paskirtį. Tačiau ar rekomenduočiau atkreipti dėmesį būtent į limituotos kolekcijos YSL Touche Éclat priemones? Manau, kad ne - verčiau pasižvalgykite jų įprastoje originalioje linijoje, pasirinkite sau tinkamiausią atspalvį (klasikinėje linijoje jų yra virš 10) ir taip priemonę arba pamilkite, arba nuspręskite, kad ji jums tiesiog nereikalinga..
What's most interesting about these products is the fact, that USA webpages tells us that you can get these YSL Touche Éclat Limited Edition products in their two best selling shades - 1 Luminous Radiance and 2 Luminous Ivory. However, when I've asked in multiple stores of Europe and browsed online shops, based in Europe, I was notified that these Limited Edition products are only made in their most popular and best selling shade 1 Luminous Radiance. So all I can say, I think - the country of miracles that USA, hey... :)
Would I recommend to buy a Touche Éclat? Well if you would like to spoil yourself - why not? It is really nice and easy to use, doesn't irritate the skin, it definitely satisfies the inner ego and it has a purpose in the whole make up process. But should you really go with one of their Limited Edition products? Unless you know for sure that either first or second shade is definitely yours - maybe try out their classic standard collection that comes in more than 10 different shades, pick your match and then make that call whether you love it or wanna get rid of it..
